  • What type of product is the best for removing bugs especially love bugs?
    Any help would be appreciated.
I'm just started car detailing. I currently work for a car dealership. I've gotten alot of experience. I would like to start a a side hustle friends/family. Ive purchased some equipment. I have the torondor etc. I'm looking at purchasing the husky 20 gallon compressor. Will it be enough power to run?
I have the Flex 3401 and had it this one about 5 years just replaced cord in November. I was polishing a customers car when letting go of the trigger it was slowly still rotating unplugged it and plugged it back in and would not work wondering if anybody had the same problem. brushes look fine wondering if it could be the trigger it self. Tony
This may sound silly but I've going through all the LIT online, yet no one mentions what side of the mitt you use.
I have a black I think it's rubber side, and a grey more like cloth side.

    ?????
    Thanks!
i have a porter cable 7424xp and use a lake country orange cutting pad with griots complete compound. after using it on the hood and roof of my truck the pad felt really hot so i took it off the backing plate and found the center of the velcro pad was melted. i had put a black mark on the backing plate to make sure the pad was spinning and i didn't apply too much pressure. it's a 5in backing plate and 5.5in pad..
    what could be causing this?
    Hi guys

I have a question can you put paint sealant over a newly waxed vehicle? I can’t Seem to find an answer I need help thanks
    Hi There,
I have a set of Bon-Speed Wheels on my car. They were polished to a very high mirror like finish. I have been using Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish. It seems when I use the Ball or Cone I put more hair line scratches in then I take out. No matter how I try I can’t seem to get rid of the hairline scratches. Now just so you understand you can’t feel these scratches with your fingernails. You can only see them in direct sunlight but when you do, they look horrible. I was going to try Meg #7 on them I figured if it would take swirls out of paint maybe it could take the swirls out of the aluminum. After reading on your site I saw somewhere glaze is for paint not metal. Could you please explain the proper why to handle this? Seems to be the best when I do it by hand with Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish. Honestly it still isn’t good. I can be reached at 917.582.1471.

    Thank You,
    Joe
Hi Mike, great work my friend! I have been reading your info for years, awesome stuff.

Question: I corrected and ceramic (Carpro UK 3.0) coated a black car. We put Carpro Gliss over Matt black decals and the very front painted portion
, left and right of hood (over fresh ceramic) of painted portion. The car looked amazing in and out of shop in the sun. The owner called and said there is a white hazy streak about as wide as the applicator pad and about 6 inches long on one side. I watched your video on “high spots” and polishing out a rainbow looking section on red mustang, I think, with hand sponge pad and Blackfire. Could this be what I have or possibly a reaction from Gliss over fresh ceramic? Only one side has it... Thanks for your time Mike.
Just used the Wolfgang Polishing Pad Werks Pad Cleaner that Mike showed us in his Austin Detailing class. The cleaner worked great. My pads were never this clean before. Thanks Mike.
Wow.. sorry for my lack of updates. These are all great questions that I wish I had time to answer.

My three rules for cars are Correction, Protection, and Prevention!
I have a 2017 Audi A4 in Manhattan Grey this will be my first time attempting to detail. My question are what else will I need to make the color pop. Live in Northern Cali most of the time the weather isn't to bad. Anyway here is my equipment list and please I need feed back on what im missing, I have Porter Cable 7424, Mckees Foaming wash, Jescar all in one, and a Lake Country (12) pack with all of the new flat buffing pads. Now the car is only a couple of years old im learning about iron x not so sure if I should try it yet ,and wondering if I should apply a very good Carnuba paste over the Jescar aio and if so what recommendations or should I use a liquid carnuba?Actually im open for any recommendations from the community and Mike if you are monitoring the forum please cime in. Thanks
I am trying to get as much shine as possible onto a polyurethane-coated wooden panel. I was thinking about using Menzerna Super Finish Plus 3800 Polish, and also Extreme Shine EZ Creme Glaze. I was thinking about using both of these two products, and it occurred to me that I don't know the proper order, polish first or glaze first, or is using both overkill? If I do use both, how much time should I wait between applying them?
Sticky Dashboard - No Goo Gone, Bug & Tar removal, Petrolleum distillates have worked on my 2007 Toyota Camry dash. Their recall shows Toyota knows of the problem but offers no solution if you fall beyond their 10-yr deadline. Do U have any product to recommend?
Hello, I was just wondering if anyone has started installing paint protection film and making any profit doing it??
I have a 2015 Wrangler Unlimited that developed mold/mildew on most all cloth surfaces, seats, seatbelts, carpets during a storage period of about 3 months. Can anyone recommend the best cleaning solution/action to remove the mildew?
