I've got a 2001 Suburban, white, that was sprayed by a skunk some time ago. The spray hit the left front bumper and quater panel area. I didn't even know the vehicle was hit - there weren't any marks or anything.

After some time, the places where it was hit have turned to brown. I was able to buff them out of the paint, however, I can't seem to get it out of the plastic molding and bumper. I used 3M rubbing compound on a low-end orbital buffer, as well as Mother's Gold on the same buffer, but can't seem to get it out. I've also used bug and tar remover, windex and almost anything else I could find around the house.

Any tips, tricks, techniques and product recommendations would be helpful.
