I have a black 2007 Infiniti M45 sport, very similar to the one you showed in a recent thread. The paint has bad swirl marks all over and pretty bad holograms as well. I am complete noob but I would like to purchase the tools/products and fix this myself. I love my car and willing to put in the elbow grease to fix it up properly, but as I said, I'm a noob and don't have the skill/knowledge.

Question for you. For this specific paint, would you recommend I purchase a rotary such as the Makita 9227, or a DA such as the PC? Also, what products would you recommend to remove the swirls and holograms? Should I use the same products as you (HPS, Ultrafina) or would you recommend something different for a noob? What does "ipa wipe down" mean?
