I live between Rochester and Buffalo NY...there is NO competition in this area as far as detailing businesses...just body/paint shops. I'm 58 Y/O and have been hobby detailing for many years. I want to get into this business at some point as I love working with my hands and I love cars. I will retire in a few years and I'm not one to be sitting at home..I want to keep busy. I have a passion for making cars look like new. Were you thinking of franchising your business...this area is PRIME for a detailing business...I also live in a College town with a few thousand students. Also, in the northeast, we have bad winters and cars need even more care than in most areas of the country...especially in the spring after a long winter, road salt, and such. I have the passion and the location....just need some way to make it happen.
